The width range suits mountain bike and cruiser tyres. Fitting is a standard roadside job: take the tyre off the rim, lift out the old tube, seat the replacement, refit the tyre and bring it up to pressure. Keep a spare in a saddle bag or pannier so a flat can be dealt with where it happens.
